The proposal includes a binding target to reduce electricity consumption, a cap on market revenues from low-cost electricity producers such as renewables and nuclear power plants and a so-called "solidarity contribution mechanism" to channel excess profits from fossil-fuel extractors to consumers.

29 września 2022 r. w formule online odbyło się spotkanie negocjacyjne, na którym omawiano ostatnie kwestie dyskusyjne dotyczące projektu programu Fundusze Europejskie dla Wielkopolski 2021-2027. Spotkanie prowadził Marek Woźniak, Marszałek Województwa Wielkopolskiego, Komisję Europejską reprezentowali Lucie Zackova z Dyrekcji Generalnej ds. Polityki Regionalnej i Miejskiej (DG REGIO) oraz Gelu Calacean z Dyrekcji Generalnej ds. Zatrudnienia, Spraw Społecznych i Włączenia Społecznego (DG EMPL), władze krajowe reprezentowała Małgorzata Jarosińska – Jedynak, Sekretarz Stanu w Ministerstwie Funduszy i Polityki Regionalnej.

Rozmowy z partnerami z Brukseli, dotyczyły w szczególności możliwości i zakresu wsparcia szpitali. Formalnie kończymy trwający pół roku proces negocjacyjny z KE. Jesteśmy na dobrej drodze do zatwierdzenia  programu Fundusze Europejskie dla Wielkopolski 2021-2027.
