Seminar "Resilient Society"

We would like to invite you to participate in the seminar entitled “Resilient Society”, which will be held on February 27, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (Al. Niepodległości 10) in Room 236 A (Building A) an online
The objective of the seminar is to create a platform for discussion that summarizes the key issues involved in building a resilient society in Europe. This discussion is particularly necessary given the ongoing transformations across the continent, which require societal adjustments and proactive crisis readiness.
Experts in the field of sustainable development and resilient society will present as keynote speakers:
- Prof. Barbara Borusiak (Poznań University of Economics and Business), who will seek answers to the question of whether sustainable consumption leads to resilient society,
- Prof. Sonia De Gregorio Hurtado (Polytechnic University of Madrid, Jean Monnet Chair RegenEU), who will provide an overview of the urban paradigm in the context of the transformation towards resilient EU cities,
- Katarzyna Ptak-Bufkens (European Commission, DG SANTE), who will address the problem of European Union support for healthcare.
