An international seminar “Resilient Society”

We would like to invite you to participate in the seminar entitled “Resilient Society”, which will be held on February 27, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (Al. Niepodległości 10) in Room 236 A (Building A).
Prominent experts in the field of sustainable development and resilient society will present as keynote speakers:
- Prof. Sonia De Gregorio Hurtado (Polytechnic University of Madrid), who will provide an overview of the urban paradigm in the context of the transformation towards resilient EU cities,
- Prof. Barbara Borusiak (Poznań University of Economics and Business), who will seek answers to the question of whether sustainable consumption leads to resilient society,
- Katarzyna Ptak-Bufkens (European Commission, DG SANTE), who will address the problem of European Union support for healthcare.
Seminar program:
11.00-11.15 Opening
11.15-12.45 Plenary session with presentations by the above-mentioned keynote speakers
12.45-13.00 Coffee break
13.00-14.00 Discussion
13.45-14.00 Closing remarks
Employees, students and doctoral students of our and other universities are invited to the seminar.
Participation in the seminar is free of charge. Registration is open until February the 25th, 2025.
