Doświadczenia pierwszych lat członkostwa (New Member States of the European Union. Economy, regions, lobbying. Experiences of the first years of membership), published by the Poznań University of Economics Press, Poznań 2009.

The publication presents selected aspects of economic and social processes in the new EU Member States, emphasising their specific characteristics and thus highlighting the internal diversity of the new European Union area. The aim of the study is to present and assess the level of socio-economic development achieved and the actions taken by these countries in the areas of: development cooperation policy, social and economic cohesion, research and development policy, regional diversity, and European lobbying in the first years of their membership, i.e. in the period 2004-2007, as well as to determine the degree of preparedness of the new members to function within the European Union.
